2. Professional Estimating Services

We provide professional building estimation, cost planning, bill of quantities (BOQ) preparation, and tender pricing packages prepared by qualified quantity surveyors.

Scope and Accuracy

• All building estimates are prepared based strictly on the plan drawings, dimensional specifications, schedules of work, and details provided by you.
• We use professional care and diligence, referring to current UK material costs, labor rates, and historic QS databases to establish our costings.
• Estimates, cost breakdowns, and bills of quantities are intended for budget, guide, and tendering purposes only. They do not constitute formal architectural design plans, structural design assurances, or legal construction contracts.
• We are not responsible for any cost variances resulting from incomplete or inaccurate drawings, changes in project scope, unforeseen site conditions, or subsequent changes in material or labor market rates.

3. Client Obligations

When requesting an estimate, you agree to:

• Provide clear, legible, and up-to-date architectural and structural drawing files (PDF, DWG, etc.).
• Ensure all design requirements, specifications, and project variables (such as local site constraints) are fully disclosed before work commences.
• Warrant that you possess all intellectual property licenses and permissions required to share the uploaded plans with us.

4. Fees and Payment

Fees for our single building estimates or project tender reviews are agreed upon before the start of the job, based on our project scale estimation criteria.

• Payment Terms: For standard one-off estimates, payment is due in full prior to the delivery of the compiled costing sheets, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
• Plus Membership: Plus membership plans are billed on a recurring subscription basis as specified during signup.
• VAT: All stated prices are subject to UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing rate unless explicitly declared otherwise.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bidders Support Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss, loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities arising from the use of our estimates, cost planning files, or tender advice.

Our total liability to you in respect of any contract, service request, or estimation package, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or breach of statutory duty, shall be strictly capped at the total fee paid by you for that individual project service.

6. Intellectual Property

This website and its content, including text, custom graphics, stylesheets, layout codes, and brand kits, are the intellectual property of Bidders Support Ltd. You may not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any website content without our express written permission.

All client-submitted drawings and plans remain your intellectual property. We are granted a non-exclusive, royalty-free, temporary license to store, review, and mark up these files solely for the purpose of producing your cost estimate.

7. Cancellation Policy

Once a service request has been confirmed and our quantity surveyors have begun working on your drawings, the service cannot be canceled and no refunds will be issued, as professional labor has been committed to the task.

8. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes relating to these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
